The H40-S is the model designed to be offset. This can be done either manually, or hydraulically through the use of a hydraulic cylinder. The maximum offset for all sizes is 40 cm to the right. The H40-S model also features an oversize real roller that was designed to be assembled in two positions, either away from the rotor or closer to it, allowing in this case the rotating blades to keep the roller clean.

Up to 40 cm of side shift
H40-S is equipped standard with a manual or optional hydraulic side-shift that allows mower to be offset up to 40 cm. With the standard manual offset the operator can choose one of five different pre-set positions, while with the optinal hydraulic side shift, the operator has infinite adjustments.
Roller mounted in standard position
When roller is mounted in the standard position most of the cut grass will be discharged in front of the roller.
Roller mounted in forward position
If the roller is mounted in the forward position, most of the cut grass will
be discharged behind the roller. Mounting the roller in the forward position allows for the blades to prevent grass build up on the rear roller.
Note: When using rear roller in the forward position, the roller scraper will need to be removed.
Manually loaded belt tensionners
Our manually loaded belt tensionning system has allowed us to remove idlers which often turn out to be the root cause of most belt failures.
Heavy duty, pulleys and belts
H40-S mowers are equipped standard with heavy duty individually balanced steel pulleys and SPBX type reinforced notched belts.
Pulleys have over 180˚ belt coverage without the use of idlers.
Sealed rotor bearings and low profile rotor supports
Our sealed rotor bearings never require external grease.
The low profile of the rotor supports means the operator can mow closer to obstacles without risking to impact the supports against foreign objects.
Clockwise rotor rotation
Clockwise rotor rotation allows cut debris to be thrown up and around the rotor and then straight down into the ground, reducing the risk caused by thrown objects.
Specific blades for any application
Only Rotomec offers you the choice of fine cut blades, dethatching blades, reverse “Y” blades, paddle blades or hammers blades allowing the operators to set up the unit specifically for their application.
