The Hurricane H70 is a horizontal axis rotary flail mower; its robustness and the quality results it produces make it particularly suitable for contractors or landscape professionals. The transmission is lateral through two CX jagged belts with semi-automatic belt tensionner. The rotor bearings are self-aligning to support greater workloads and increase durability. The cutting height adjustable from a minimum of 20 mm to a maximum of 150 mm is adjusted through the rear roller supplied also with a scraper. The electronically balanced rotor is equipped with a double pivot blade attachment to prevent blade breakage and rotor damage. The rotor may also be equipped with different types of blades depending on the work required and can also be equipped with vertical blades perfect for scarifying lawns with thatch build up.

Gearbox by Rotomec
Gearboxes are manufactured by Rotomec and always assembled with top of the line gears, bearings and seals to ensure years of trouble free usage.
Cast iron rotor supports
Our cast iron rotor supports are designed and built in-house and assembled using spherical self-aligning bearings.
Belt shield fender
H70’s are equipped standard with belt shield fenders to protect the drive system from impacts with foreign objects.
Replaceable side skids
All units are delivered with replaceable side skids.
Clockwise rotor rotation
Clockwise rotor rotation allows cut debris to be thrown up and around the rotor and then straight down into the ground, reducing the risk caused by thrown objects.
Specific blades for any application
Only Rotomec offers you the choice of fine cut blades, dethatching blades, reverse “Y” blades, paddle blades or hammers blades allowing the operators to set up the unit specifically for their application.
