The T50 is a side-shift rotary tiller designed to work with tractors ranging from 25 to 50 HP at 540 rpm. It is the ideal machine for use anywhere from orchards to nurseries, from vineyards to greenhouses and all other types of landscaping. The high carbon steel rotor shaft allows for a working depth up to 21 cm. The rotor shaft also comes with double flanges on the side to facilitate blade replacement. The T50 is available in working widths of 125, 145 and 165 cm and comes either with a driveline with shear bolt or slip clutch safety. These rotary tillers are available with forward or reverse tilling rotation. The smooth manual side-shift system requires no lever to operate allowing the tillers to work totally shifted to the right, therefore under plants, sidewalks and flowerbeds, as well as in central position just like any normal centered tiller covering both tractor tire tracks. The T50 also offers the possibility of reversing the chain gears allowing you to increase the speed of the rotor and therefore obtain further ground pulverization on the first pass.

Built-in manual side shift

Rotomec tillers feature a built-in manual side shift system that allows operator to either keep the tiller center mounted behind the tractor, like a traditional unit, or offset the tiller to the right of the tractor. This is particularly beneficial when trying to till over the right tractor tire and closer to obstacles.

Forward or reverse tilling rotation

Rotomec tillers may be set up with either a forward or reverse rotating rotor. When the rotor rotates forward the tiller will have a tendency to bury the rocks while when the tiller rotates backwards it will have a tendency to bring any rocks to the surface.

Gearbox manufactured by Rotomec

Unlike other manufacturers who purchase gearboxes from outside suppliers, Rotomec utilizes a gearbox built in-house using high strength steel for its gears and top of the line bearings and seals.

ASA 100  Chain drive

Lateral ASA 100 chain drive transmission in oil bath. Our chain transmissions are oversized specifically to avoid any downtime due to maintenance. Our Chain transmissions also offer over 180° gear coverage resulting in a smoother and better distributed power transmission.

Reversible sprockets

Model T50 tillers are equipped with reversible sprockets that allow you obtain two tillage speeds: Standards speed is 226 rpm, Increased speed is 383 rpm.

Rotor supports

Rotor supports are made out of stamped steel making them more durable than those offered by competitors.

Flanged rotor shaft

The flanged rotor shaft allows operator to quickly disassemble the rotor from the tiller for easy and comfortable blade service and replacement.

Side skids with Infinite adjustments

Side skids allow for tiller depth adjustment to be set anywhere from 0″ to 8 3/8″.

Six blades per flange (additional)

The higher horsepower tractor for which this tiller is designed for, means that it is capable for handling the additional power requested for a rotor with six blades per flange.
