The Seed-Rite is a primary full-width seed broadcaster ideal for seeding a wide variety of grasses in lawns, golf courses, parks, sports fields and hay fields. Seeds are precisely metered and placed at the ideal depth for proper seed germination. The 29 cm diameter front corrugated roller, equipped with 28 rings, evens out the surface and prepares the seed bed while the 24 cm diameter rear corrugated roller equipped with 29 rings, helps incorporate the seed into the ground and gently applies pressure through the 2 side springs to compact the surface after the seed has been placed. The light weight and durable nylon/fiberglass composite roller rings which are supplied standard with the Seed-Rite also help contain the overall weight of the machine making it easier to use with the lower horsepower tractors. Cast iron roller rings are available as an option and are ideal when more pressure on the soil is needed.

Chain driven seed hopper
Seed-Rite seed hoppers are driven from the bottom roller. Seed is dropped only when the roller begins turning.
Precise seed calibration
Seed calibration handle allows operator to precisely select the amount of seed to spread.
Seed metering cups
Rotomec’s seed metering cups allow for an always accurate and even distribution of a wide variety of seeds.
Corrugated rollers
All seeders are equipped with nylon / fiberglass corrugated roller rings to compact the ground for optimal seed germination.
Spring-tine tractor tire track remover
Spring-tine tractor tire track removers help break up the ground the tractor tire stepped on and allow for the seed to incorporate into the ground.
Lift hooks
Lift hooks allow for quick and easy loading and unloading of seeder to and from your jobsite.
